Cognitive Assessment
A cognitive assessment uses a wide range of standardised test to evaluate your thinking skills such as attention, memory, processing speed, problem-solving, and abstract reasoning.
It is comprehensive assessment that provides a profile of your cognitive strengths and difficulties and is useful for the following purposes:
- Measuring changes in cognitive function after a brain injury
- Providing more information to support or rule out a neurological diagnosis such as dementia or stroke
- Supporting mental capacity decisions
- Identifying additional care, treatment or workplace needs resulting from cognitive difficulties
This is not an exhaustive list so please contact us to discuss how a cognitive assessment might assist in your diagnostic or rehabilitation journey.
